Waterloo Now/Then

A photography project with the City of Waterloo, Create Waterloo and the Waterloo Public Library.

“The Waterloo Now/Then Youth Photography Project documents the walk of seven young photographers (ages 10 to 17) through UpTown Waterloo and presents their photos alongside shots from days past. As the photographers traveled from site to site they explored the space, texture, life and history of our evolving Waterloo and, through their photos, give us their own perspective of today before it becomes tomorrow’s history.”

I was the coordinating / mentor photographer for the students and lead them around Uptown Waterloo on a photowalk. I also assembled the final presentation for display and show at the opening held at Waterloo Public Library. A few of the panels can be seen here while the full collection can be found in the city archives.
