Artist Statement

My work is an exploration of connections, structure, and belonging in a fragmented world.

My practice is rooted in the structural logic of tessellations, a philosophy I apply across all my creative output—from mixed media and photography to collaborative community projects.

I am driven by the belief that every element, no matter how small or disparate, has an essential place in the greater whole. Through my art, I create visual puzzles using layered mixed media and painted patterns that deliberately shift focus, twist reality, and explore new perspectives. The compositions are designed to challenge and highlight how all the elements are interconnected.

This structural approach extends into my collaborative work. As a visual consultant, photographer, and developer of experiential projects, I apply this problem-solving logic to real-world challenges. Whether capturing the energy of a community event, designing custom visual strategies, or developing installations that inspire collaboration and problem-solving, my goal remains the same: to create shared experiences that strengthen bonds and build a lasting sense of belonging.

Ultimately, my art serves as an invitation to engage—to find the patterns, define the narrative, and actively connect with the world and the community around you.
