STORY TILES

… Are an extension of my original tessellations and are a unique and exciting way to engage a community in a collaborative art project.

I start with a custom or existing original tessellation, laser cut the lines and then, on site, I trace the shapes so that they’re ready for participants to colour and stylize.

Because of the nature of the work, the final piece does not have to be confined to a rectangle and can bend and twist based on the environment.

And, when complete, it might contain 5 or 500 pieces all uniquely personalized by community members.
